Keegan Hill (1987 - 2011) - Six Nations Rebels lacrosse community has lost a former player, coach and friend to many of the bigger lacrosse this past Monday when Keegan Hill past away from injuries he received from the single vehicle accident Sunday morning.
Keegan played for the Rebels for 5 years. Starting in 2002 and finishing in 2006 before moving on to the Six Nations Arrows Express.
Keegan was a key player for the Rebels in their 2003 run towards the Founders Cup.
However that team was eliminated by the eventual Founders Cup winners, Barrie Tornado in 2003 in a tough 5-games OLA Final series.
Keegan played 4 years with Arrows and helped them win OLA Jr A titles in 2004, 2006 and 2007.
Keegan also played in the 2006 Minto Cup tournament when the Arrows were the host team.
A year later (2007), Keegan helped the Arrows capture the 2nd Minto Cup title for the franchise to cap off his Junior career.
Keegan now plays lacrosse with the other great lacrosse player on the other side.
Keegan Hill will be missed by many in the lacrosse community.
