2012 Six Nations Rebels Awards Winners

BRANTFORD – It was time to re-new and review the success of the 2012 Jr B lacrosse season. The 5-time and current Back-to-Back Founders Cup Champions, Six Nations Rebels held their annual Awards Banquet at the Petofi Hungarian Hall Saturday night.
No individual Rebels player won a 2012 OLA Jr B award for the first time since 2006. The 2012 Rebels were about the team goal, which is the Founders Cup…mission accomplished. The Rebels handed out 14 annual team awards which included the inaugural Heart & Soul award in memory of fallen teammate, Carney Elijah Johnson who passed away on August 6, 2012, in the midst of the Ontario Jr B Finals.
The Rebels celebrated the accomplishments and also the memory of Carney Johnson throughout the night.
One veteran Rebels player, Jacob Bomberry broke 4 franchise records in 2012.
